A example of a paradigm?
Science used to have the paradigm that the earth was the center of the solar system, and a whole framework of how the solar system worked followed. Then in 1543 the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus showed that it was the sun that was at the center of the solar system and not the earth. This messed up the whole framework, but paradigms die hard and the old astronomers couldn’t accept this new information. This started what Kuhn calls a revolution where a lot of infighting took place. In this case it wasn’t until the 1600s that the sun at the center of the solar system was fully accepted, and became the new paradigm. Back to paradigm
