Wise Turtle of Sophia Lake, talk about Conscious living.
And O. Turtle answered: One of the most famous of all Hindu Monks, Paramahansa Yogananda, once said, “Millions of people never analyze themselves. Mentally they are mechanical products of the factory of their environment, preoccupied with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, working and sleeping, and going here and there to be entertained. They don't know what or why they are seeking, nor why they never realize complete happiness and lasting satisfaction. By evading self-analysis, people go on being robots, conditioned by their environment. True self-analysis is the greatest art of progress.” Once you learn the basics of self-analysis, and practice it, then Conscious living will slowly emerge. It will become a life long journey. The first baby steps are to start learning meditation by sitting for five minutes every day before you start your day. Start by sitting upright (it can be in bed), with your eyes closed and not moving. It is best to use a timer so its at least 5 minutes because most people have never sat still for even 1 minute much less 5. Then plan your day in your head. For the next step go HERE
